Reviews
Wine Enthusiast 94
This wine presents a beautiful floral nose, where blueberry, black cherry, bay leaf and wild thyme intertwine in a seductive bouquet. The palate is impeccably balanced, with vibrant acidity slicing through dense layers of blackberry preserves, plum, clove, and fine herbs. A refined texture and freshness bring harmony, making it approachable now with a proper decant.

Tasting Notes
Intense carmine red with violet reflections. Intense nose, blending truffle, candied fruits, and cherry. Smooth and balanced, fresh and very aromatic on the finish.
Terroir
From Chavanay in the north to Guilherand in the south, the vineyard of the appellation stretches over about fifty kilometers. It covers 23 communes in
Ardeche and 3 in Loire. The vines are subject to Mediterranean influences. The vineyard is mainly set on terraces with fairly steep slopes, and its
topography is crucial for sunlight exposure and drainage. The main soil component of the appellation is granite.
Vinification
Traditional winemaking, maceration for 3 to 4 weeks, aging in a tank at low temperature.
