From a cool-climate site, this wine offers aromas of red berry, Bing cherry, red currant, star anise, red flowers, coriander, sarsaparilla and toasted oak on the nose. The flavors on the palate are youthful strawberry, crabapple, raspberry, dried bay leaf, black pepper and mineral, rounding out the tannins on the finish.
